DAY 01 BANGALORE
Arrive Bangalore intl airport by late night. Garland welcome, assistance and transfer to hotel and relax. O/n Hotel.
DAY 02 BANGALORE TO MYSORE TO OOTY
After breakfast, we drive to Ooty via Mysore (about 294kms/10hrs) through the tranquil countryside and onto Bandipur & Mudumalai Wldlife Sanctuary where you can see the dotter deers, monkeys and bird life. Our further drive will be through the beautiful Nilgiri Hills, upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to prepare for our tomorrows bike hike. O/n Hotel.
DAY 03 OOTY TO GUDALUR TO SULTAN BATTERY
Morning after an early breakfast a brief description about our 404 km bike hike through the unbeaten track of Malabar and finally ends at Vypeen, an isle at Cochin in 05 days. After the briefing, we will set of for our first stretch of 82 kms ride to Sultan Battery through the mountain roads of Gudalur, Devarshola. Throughout the way, the views are stunning over the Western Ghats and finally we reach Sultan Battery for our overnight camp. O/n Camp.
DAY 04 SULTAN BATTERY TO ARIKKOD
Today our second days 94 km ride will be through the Wayanad hill roads, which offers a panorama of undulating hills and dales. The hills, which might have been thick forest once, are now plantations of coffee, cardamom and pepper. There is luxurious greenery all around. We start our ride to Kalpetta, the headquarters of Wayanad district and to Vythiri, Lakkidi a place of great scenic beauty with picturesque hills, streams and luxuriant vegetation, one of the highest locations in Wayanad. Our next stretch of the ride will be absolutely very adventurous through Thamarassery hairpin bends and leads to the tranquil countryside of Vazhakkad and Arikkod to pitch our camps. O/n Camp.
DAY 05 ARIKKOD TO KOLAPULLI
The third day of our 96 km ride will take us through the interior roads of Malabar with its own charm of beautiful countryside, fields & villages of Edavana, Melathur and other small towns like Perinthalmanna & Cherupallassery. We finally ride down to Kolapuli via Vaniyamkulam, which set on the banks of a river of astonishing beauty, poetry and silence Bharatapuzha. Evening free to relax on the banks of the river. O/n Camp.
DAY 06 KOLAPULLI TO IRINJALAKUDA
Morning after breakfast we set of for our 67 km ride to Irinjalakuda via the famed institute of arts Kalamandalam, responsible for the renaissance of Kathakali dance, which we will make a short visit. Proceed to Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala via the interior roads of Vadakkamcheri & Mulangunathukavu. Today our final stretch will be passing through the villages of Urakom and finally pitch our camp in Irijalakuda. O/n Camp.
DAY 07 IRINJALAKUDA TO VYPEEN
Morning after breakfast we will ready for the final day of our 65 km cycle ride to Vypeen Island passing through the Kodungalloor & Paravoor town and finally our ride deviated to the coastal road to the biggest Island of Ernakulam district Vypeen. After the flag off ceremony, board an motor boat from the finishing point to the Willingdon Island crossing one of the finest natural harbours in the world Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free to relax. O/n Hotel.
DAY 08 COCHIN
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Cochin - The mixture of influences here is a heady brew. Chinese fishing nets dot the coast, Roman coins are dug up as treasure trove, the Mattancheri Palace was built by the Portuguese, the Bolghatty Palace by the Dutch, and Willingdon Island was created by the British. Here you will find Hindu Temples, Christian Churches, mosques, and a synagogue (the Jewish settlement dates from at least as far back as AD 400). Cochin is a melting pot of races and cultures, charmingly emphasizing that variety is indeed the spice of life. Visit famous monuments & churches. Afternoon free to relax. O/n Hotel.
DAY 09 COCHIN
Early morning transfer to Intl airport to board flight to your home country via Middle East.
