DAY 01 KOCHI
Arrive Kochi from your home country by morning. Garland welcome, assistance and transfer to Napier House - a home stay situated in the heart of Fort Kochi. The day free to relax or stroll around the serene lanes of Napier Street reflect the colonial influence of the Dutch, the Portuguese and the British.
Evening you will have an interaction with the family members which follows by a cooking demonstrations. You can also try their well-equipped kitchen, which you can use to prepare your own food. O/n Napier House
DAY 02 KOCHI
Full day city sightseeing including Kathakali show at a local theatre. Evening again cooking demonstration headed by your host. O/n Napier House
DAY 03 KOCHI TO THALLASSERY
After an early breakfast drive to Thallassery (about 284kms/06-07hrs), check into a heritage bungalow, which built in 1862 by Murdoch Brown, a tradesman from the East India Company, and bought in 1900 by the Moosas, a local family of Muslim spice traders who still run it today, the place oozes history.
Rest of the day free to relax or enjoy watching spectacular sunset at endless Arabian Ocean from the palm-shaded terrace of this 2-storey colonial mansion. O/n Ayisha Manzil.
DAY 04 THALLASSERY
The day free for cooking; perfect your curry and spice cooking with lessons from the experts. Evening enjoy the food, which is undoubtedly the highlight of each day: a sumptuous feast prepared and presented by the Mrs Faiza Moosa, who joins you with her husband for dinner. O/n Ayisha Manzil.
DAY 05 THALLASSERY
After breakfast drive 20km to Kannur, home to some of India’s finest hand weaving looms – you can buy fabrics at low cost here – and a 16th century Portuguese fort of St. Angelo. After the visit, back to hotel and relax.
Further by late afternoon, drive to Parasinikkadavu Muthappan Temple to watch the evening Theyyam dance rituals. O/n Ayisha Manzil.
DAY 06 THALLASSERY TO SHORNUR
After breakfast drive to Shornur (about 174kms/04hrs), enroute visit the Punnathoor Kota – the elephant camp. Arrive and check into the erstwhile summer palace of the Maharajas (emperor) of Cochin, situated on the banks of Bharatapuzha – the river of astonishing beauty. Evening free to relax or join with the main chef. O/n Hotel.
DAY 07 SHORNUR TO MUNNAR
After breakfast visit nearby Kalamandalam, the famed institute of performing arts and Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam, the world-renowned ayurvedic centre. Preserving the spirit of its illustrious past, the place breaths history in every detail.
Further in the afternoon drive to Munnar (about 190kms/04-05hrs), a picturesque hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations. Arrive and check into the small clean guesthouse and relax. O/n Hotel.
DAY 08 MUNNAR
After breakfast we go for the full day trekking by Jeep. Enjoy the Attukadu waterfalls & climb up the rocks. Proceed to visit two pristine villages; witness the unique ‘Grama Panchayat’, the good old traditional village court and finally, a trip to cardamom plantations and the dense forests of Bison Valley. An intimate encounter with virgin streams, age-old trees and a host of bird species.
Evening free time to relax with your host. O/n Hotel.
DAY 9 MUNNAR TO THEKKADY
After breakfast drive to Thekkady (about 110kms/03hrs) through the cardamom hills. Arrive and check into the hotel, set unobtrusively in the Periyar wilderness on the lofty Western Ghats. Evening attend the cookery class presented by the main chef of this resort. O/n Hotel Spice Village.
DAY 10 THEKKADY TO TEEKOY
Early morning at 06.00, explore the picturesque Periyar wildlife sanctuary by 02 hrs motorboat ride on the manmade lake, which encircles the wildlife. Back to hotel for breakfast and further drive to Teekoy (about 85kms/02hrs), check into Vanilla County, situated in a 150 acre estate bungalow. The 5000-sq.ft bungalow is 60 years old and all the rooms with verandahs and very spacious & well furnished.
Evening enjoy the variety of home cooked typical Kerala food and other Indian dishes. The spices and vegetables used for cooking and fruits served are farm fresh. O/n Vanilla County.
DAY 11 TEEKOY
Vanilla County is owned and managed by Baby Mathew and Rani Baby Vallikappan who belong to a traditional agricultural family of the region.
Meet you hosts in detail: Mr. Baby Mathew, a post graduate in commerce is now engaged in organic farming.
Mrs. Rani Baby is a graduate in Home Science.
Stay with this family and enjoy home cooked food. Possibility of staying in LIFE (Less Intensive Farming Environment), opportunity to see vermi culture, sustainable/organic method of farming, organic spice, fruit and vegetable farms.

DAY 12 TEEKOY TO ALLEPPEY
After breakfast drive to Alleppey (about 65kms/02hrs), here we board our houseboat, which comprises of furnished bedrooms with attached bath, a loung area where you can relax on the cruise. Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters of Alleppey, enroute stop at some remote villages to know more about the lifestyle of the peoples. Evening capture the kitchen from the chef and experience some Kerala dishes. O/n Housebaot.
DAY 13 ALLEPPEY TO KOVALAM
After breakfast disembark from the houseboat, straight drive to Kovalam (about 165kms/04hrs), check into the hotel overlooking the Arabian Sea. Rest of the day free to relax on the beach. O/n Hotel.
DAY 14 KOVALAM TO TRIVANDRUM
Early morning transfer to Trivandrum int’l airport to board flight to your onward destination.
